What appears to be a setback can actually be a blessing in disguise. After booking a trip to Hong Kong to sign up a big investor for our business, we learned that this investor was not what they said they were, and that the deal wasn’t going to happen.
We had a choice to make. We could cancel the trip and accept the loss, or take the trip anyway and hustle to make it a success. We had a choice to see this event as an obstacle, or an opportunity.
We chose the latter.
